In a hurry, Elzi dragged Vara along with her, trying to contain her annoyance, mostly because of the seven-centimeter-high heels she was wearing. The high heels made it difficult for Elzi to pull Vara along.

“Goodness, Zi,” Vara complained, trying to keep up with her friend's rapid pace. “What's going on?”
