It seemed as if Elzi had never experienced such a bright morning, one where happiness greeted her as she opened her eyes.

There was a warm embrace around her, a gentle breath brushing against her, and Ben kissing her forehead.

“Good morning,” he said.

The greeting made Elzi lift her head from where it rested on Ben's arm. She blinked once and found Ben rubbing his eyes briefly. Unconsciously, a smile spread across Elzi's lips.
