Mr. Davis’s office was not far from Sweet Serenity Cafe. It only took fifteen minutes for Beverley to get there. She sent Brent a text message before finally getting out of the car.

 

The building in front of her wasn’t big. It only consisted of five floors and was not in a large office environment. Nonetheless, the atmosphere was warm and classic.

 

The outer walls of the first floor were brick. There are some potted green plants outside. The entrance was made of glass and framed with dark brown wood. The word “closed” hung there.
