I had to stay in the hospital last night for observation. Uncle Nolan and Aunt Brook, along with Major, stayed with me all night. Dad and Ma worried but didn’t want to leave my siblings alone. We didn’t know why.

The next day I awoke and cringed because of my ribs and nose. Uncle Nolan checked on me. “Hey, Lu. How are you feeling?”
