After a few days, I could see Lex. My dad took me to his room in a wheelchair. They were releasing me tomorrow. He wheeled me in, and it shocked me. Lex was lying in a bed, hooked up to machines. Nash and Maggie were there.

Dad rolled me over to his side of the bed.

“How is Lex?” I asked Nash and Maggie.

“Lex slipped into a coma right after the surgery. So, the doctors won’t know anything until he wakes up,” Nash told me.

“They say if you talk to him, he can hear voices,” Maggie told me.
