I sat in my room, staring at the acceptance letters from colleges. I should be ecstatic about getting accepted, but I wasn’t. I haven't been happy about a lot of things lately.

The only thing I had looked forward to, was Lyric, but I was afraid she would grow tired of me and leave. I know she said she wouldn’t, but one day, she would. It was a matter of time.
