“Do you need anything, Ma?” Grampa asked Grammy.
“Nathaniel, I’m ninety-two, it’s hot, and I’m sweating like a whore in church. What do you think?” Grammy asked.
He rolled his eyes as he looked at Nana. “Well, ninety-two hasn’t slowed Ma down.”

We pulled into Grampa’s driveway and got out of the van. Kaiden and Kain helped me bring the stuff in while Ma and Dad grabbed the cake. My crazy sisters grabbed the rest of the goodies. Well, that was if they could keep Larkin from eating it all.
