Major and I took things slowly. Now that we found out we’re not married, it made life easier. Nixon threatened us if we got married without him performing our wedding, Major wouldn’t have any kids. I laughed. Major didn’t.

I came out of class. Someone grabbed my hand, jerking me from the door. Then a pair of lips were on mine.

“Hi, yourself.” I giggled.
