Settling into married life

We returned from our honeymoon. Maverick referred me to a therapist about my issues, and he diagnosed me with PTSD. He explained it’s reasonable to experience it after experiencing an accident. However, I could make sense of everything, and it didn’t seem so frightening.

That helped me as I settled into married life with Piper. We continued to work at the bakery. She and Lyric’s pregnancy were progressing, although I started to worry about her and the baby. Okay, scratch that. Her pregnancy worried me a lot.
