Elaine's POV
Without him, my life wouldn't have been such a breeze. Even last night, he managed everything by himself. Did not let me work on anything, meaning-he did the dishes after our candlelight dinner, too.
It was, however, strange waking up in his bed. Because he wasn't beside me. That was when the sweet smell of maple syrup poured on warm pancakes greeted me in the morning.
