Sophia and Chad followed up on Aiden's case. They got to know that the police have released Aiden on bail. They were not happy about it.

Knowing the position Kira is holding, they know things won't be too difficult on Aiden so they begin to think of what to do next.

They don't want Kira's death but her position and she has to be alive for them to achieve that. They can then decide on what to do with her after Chad has gained power. So they don't have issues with Kira for now.
