I heard the doorbell ring and ran to open the door quickly. I was expecting to see Thiago, but Sonia’s face came into view, and my excitement tripled.

"How long have you known about this?" I asked as a huge grin spread across my face.

She stepped into the house and chuckled as we locked gazes, then feigned ignorance. "Known about what?"

"Don’t act like you don’t know what I’m referring to - this," I replied, pointing to everything in the house as we moved from the front door to the living room.
