Allen is standing by the entrance of her shop, scanning her worried gaze over the shelves and tables, searching for something—anything wrong or out of place. She startles ever so slightly when Alex comes up behind her and wraps his arms around her, kissing her temple.

"It's perfect; you did a great job." Damon assures her, and while Allen is still not completely convinced, she appreciates the alpha's attempts to calm her nerves.

"Thank you." Allen murmurs, leaning back into Damon's comforting body. It turns out, Damon was right; the store opening couldn't have gone any better.
