Ares’s POV
The room was very dark. The only light came from the soft, cold blue glow of many computer monitors. Each screen was alive with flickering images. Some showed grainy security videos, moving slowly and sometimes blurry. Others displayed digital maps with blinking dots and lines. A few had streams of strange, scrambled numbers and letters that no one but me could understand. I sat at the edge of a large desk filled with keyboards and glowing buttons.
