I was in Bucharest when I first saw her name again.
It was a quiet morning. The sky outside my hotel room was gray and heavy, like it hadn't decided yet whether to rain or not. I had just stepped out of the bathroom, water still dripping from my hair, a towel loosely wrapped around my waist. My body was warm from the shower, steam still clinging to the mirrors. I wasn’t really thinking about much. Just the usual. Business. The woman in my bed. My next move. Anything to keep my mind off her.
I wasn’t even paying attention to the television. It was on mute....
