The next five days were a lesson in acting.
I didn’t cry, I didn’t yell.
Instead, I became a ghost.
I woke up early, dressed in simple, elegant clothes, and went to my office at Elite Interiors to quietly pack up my files. When I returned home, I walked through the house with my head held high.
