"Yes, we received a report that he was shot dead last night when he met with Ruby," Dylan explained. "It was an assassination by the Ashes. I believe it's someone working with Lilith."

"Or Amanda."

"That would mean he knows something they are trying to keep, right?" she muttered. "May I ask why Eric met with Ruby?"
