Adams' voice made me jump even more. He sounded as though he could knock anyone over with the volume of his voice. He covered my ears before yelling. Even if he did, I could still hear the force of his voice, and I nearly flinched at the brutal force of his voice. I didn't see Aria's response when he rang since my face was still buried in his chest and it appeared that he had no intention of releasing me until the woman left.
