The Year 2015.
The Land Rover comes to a skidding halt, just outside the gate to the boma (bush fence) entrance to Piet’s Photographic Safari’s. Now aptly named “Double the Fun Safaris”, since the Frenchman Jacques Le Vee had joined Piet as a partner, the business is attracting more and more clients, thanks to Peggy and Le Vee’s marketing skills.
The burly South African tumbles out of the cab of the Land Rover, running before his feet hit the ground and shouting out at the top of his voice.
“LE VEE, my moer, waar is die bliksem, LE VEE, WHERE ARE YOU MAN?”
