After her conversation with Alice, Scarlet decided to go shopping. She just got out of the coffee shop when she heard her phone ringing. She retrieved it from her bag, only to be surprised at the caller’s identity. Then, she smirked triumphantly.

“How are you doing, Scarlet?”

“It's been a long time, Collin. How's your lady wife doing?”

“What motivated you to do it? Did you always intend to stoop so low?” He chastised Scarlet for purposefully causing the misunderstanding.

“She provoked me, Collin, and you were aware of how much I love you.” She responded casually.
