I kneel beside Rose, pleading and desperate,

"Reconsider," I beg, one last chance to erase.

" I was desperate. I was confused. Mom tricked me. She assured me you weren't going to get hurt" He begs in tears as he continues his stupid lies

" I love you Vixen with all of my heart. God knows that"

Rose's expression remains unyielding and firm,

"Darrick," she says, "I don't love you anymore, my heart's torn."

"My heart belongs to another," she confesses true,

"Roman," she whispers, love shining through.

My chest constricts in pain, overwhelmed and defeated,
