Before Audrey could say another word. Vincent intervened.
He could see the exhaustion in Audrey's eyes, the toll of staying by Isabella's side for so long. It was the right time to step in.
"Audrey," Vincent said gently, "you've been here all day. Why don't you go home and get some rest?"
Audrey looked hesitant, glancing at Isabella. "I don't want to leave her alone."
Isabella managed a small smile. "Audrey, it's okay. Vincent's right. You need to take care of yourself too. I'll be fine here."
