“You have a visitor, my Alpha,” one of Alpha Greg's men announced to him. Alpha Greg glanced up from the newspaper in his hands, furrows appearing in between his glabella. “I'm not expecting anyone, today? Dismiss whomever it is. I will attend to pack duties tomorrow.”

“It's Beta Carlos of Blood Moon, my Alpha.”

Alpha Greg adjusted and dropped the paper on the table before him. “Bring him in,” he ordered as he rose, ambling towards the inner door. He came out with a bottle of whiskey and glasses.
