I smiled apologetically at the heads that kept turning towards us with annoyed scowls as Megan wouldn’t stop whooping since we alighted the cab.
She seemed to forget we’re in a public space because she wouldn’t listen to me, no matter how much I tugged on her dress and tried to get her to quiet down.
I mentally facepalm myself, and wish the ground would open up and swallow me.
“Let’s get this party started, dum, dum, dum, started, dum, dum, dum” she sang and jumped around excitedly.
I gave her a questioning look, like, sister, we’re here to shop for clothes…We’re not attending no party....
