She felt genuinely happy for the first time in a really long time. The elevator finally got them to their floor so they came out together and departed.

"Hey, this is my place. Just a few doors away. Please let me know if you need anything"

He said as he got to his door and opened it. Still so full of smiles and cheerful, the type that turned hearts to gold.

"Alright, thank you"

She replied back to him as they both entered their apartments....
