Emery was standing beside Liam's bed, watching the doctor say what he should do and shouldn't do. She knows within her that Liam won't follow any of the doctor's instruction but at least he's listening attentively.

She sighed and almost reached out to him. The doctor tried to persuade him from leaving the hospital since he is still in a terrible condition and unfit for any kind of stress.

But just as she expected, he didn't listen. There's no way he would sit still knowing that his daughter is out there suffering somewhere.

Her phone suddenly vibrated. Her eyebrows...
