Lia knelt on the ground. Despite the raging windstorm, around her, the air was solemn.
I lowered my eyes and sighed. I was worried for Lia. But more than that, my heart was breaking for her. I raised a hand and placed it over my heart.
‘If my heart could only bleed for her, then I would,’ I sighed as I sat beside my mate in comfort.
“Amna,” I softly said as to not disturb Lia.
