Failed Them

I grunted as I tried to get up on my feet, but my left leg gave way and I fell on my butt. Just as I tried to stand up again, I heard another explosion and I fell.

I cried in pain, gritting my teeth as I watched my blood flow out of my injured leg.

The leg was badly hurt by the explosion and I knew there was no way I could stand up on my own.

I have to get help. I reached into my pocket to get my phone, but it wasn't in my pocket. I checked my other pocket and it wasn't...
