Irina's point of view:

I got inside the room to see Roman reading the newspaper while seated on the couch beside the window.

"Hey." I said to him.

"Hey, Irina." He replied, he was focused on what he was reading.

"Can I speak to you for a moment?" I asked him. He looked up and stared at me for a few seconds before looking at his newspaper.

"What's it all about?" He asked.

"Can you leave the paper alone? It's serious." I asked him.

"Sure." He closed the newspaper and placed it on the couch, beside him.

I sat on the bed, facing him.

"Okay, I was lost today and...
