We landed in Russia hours later.

The cold breeze of Russia hit me as we got off the plane.

"Welcome Don." Roman's me. Greet him as they escorted us to the car. It's more like they have been waiting for us to arrive.

We entered the car and the driver drove off. Three cars followed behind us and when we reached the gate of our house, they turned back and drove off.
