AVA WHITE

There is a feeling of discomfort that flows throughout my body. I try to open my eyes but they remain shut. I felt so tired. I felt so weak.

Attempting to curl my fingers as they begin to twitch. Why was this so hard? My head was thumping, it was a strange sensation.

Somehow I pry my eyes open, it felt like opening them for the first time. I am met by bright white lights. My eyes begin to burn and I instantly shut them again. Tightly squeezing as my head begins to pound.

Where was I?

The sound of beeping from the machine next to the bed...
