When Cilla settled into bed next to me, I felt tempted to reach over and pull her close but was somehow able to resist the temptation. I was tired of fixing things. If she wanted the silent treatment, I would give it to her. After all, she was the one who barely showed any happiness after knowing that I was back home. I was beginning to think that she wanted me gone. But hell, that was my pack. There was no way I would abandon it for long. If she didn’t want to see my face, she could leave.
