“I can’t let anything happen to her, Shaman,” I said amidst tears that had glistened in my eyes.

My gaze went to the bed, where Jessica was lying motionless. She had been very sick for the past two days, and every portion that Shaman Magnus had brewed for her seemed to have no effect on healing her. It left me bothered and worried about her state of health. I can’t lose Jessica.
