Melissa and I stepped out of the Uber, our eyes wide as we took in the sight of the massive mansion before us. The house was even more extravagant than I had imagined, and when we exchanged glances, I knew she felt the same awe I did.

"Babe, are you getting cold feet?" Melissa asked, raising an eyebrow.

I hesitated, taking in the opulence of our surroundings. "I'm a little overwhelmed by the ritzy atmosphere and the grandeur of the mansion, but no, I'm not backing out. What about you?"
