So this is where it will finally end. I told myself as the incoming vehicle was approaching at such incredible speed that my body was so frozen with fear that even attempting to move out of the way left my mind completely and I just waited for an inevitable fate.

And then I saw a lightning bolt travel across the sky as I closed my eyes and waited for the impact of the car when it finally hit me but then I felt a different kind of impact as I was landing. When I finally opened my eyes, I instinctively shut closed when I saw the car coming...
