I laid there in bed the confirmation of the love she felt replaying in my head word for word, my mind trying it's best to get used to the feeling, even though my heart was incapable of following suit. My gaze fell on her sleeping figure, her head resting gently against my chest as she slept peacefully, nothing but adoration in my mind.
