The alarm went off with such a resounding chime at one in the morning, shattering the tranquility of the night and penetrating my auditory canals with its piercing tones. After a few minutes, I was able to open my eyes and turn off the alarm. I took a quick glance around the room before donning my slippers, putting on my bathrobe, and covering myself with it. It had just the right amount of warmth. I got up and started walking towards the door. My eyes immediately widened as soon as I opened the door.
