“What is happening?” Alex asked as he entered Dimitri’s study, he already has an idea of what the

issue is from the rumours of the guards, but he asked the question to announce his arrival.

Dimitri just stared at him. By the look for fury in his face and the frantic running about of the

guards and servants, Alex could figure out what actually happened: the girl has once again

escaped, and after the ritual at that.
