Julian turned to look at me, his gray eyes studying my face.
"I never saw the point," he said honestly. "Marriage is either a business transaction or an emotional minefield. I wasn't interested in either."
"And now?" I asked, even though I wasn't sure I wanted to hear the answer.
"Now I have both," Julian said with a hint of dark humor. "A business transaction that's becoming something else entirely."
My breath caught in my throat at his words. "Is that a problem?" I asked quietly.
