I’m just coming out of the bathroom, towel wrapped around me, when I hear Stanley’s voice echo from the study.
He’s on the phone.
At first, I don't pay attention,he's always on one call or another, especially since the elections heated up. But then I hear him say it.
“…Yes. She’ll be discharged today. She said she’s tired of eating from tins and cans.”
