Lilith POV;

Immediately I opened my eyes, it felt as though a huge burden had been lifted off my shoulder. I had never felt so at ease in such a long time and, surprisingly, I felt energized. It must've been because of the encounter with the goddess.

Just then, I heard the door open and the running footsteps almost immediately.

"Your Highness," I croaked out, just as he approached me and, without further thought, embraced him.

The goddess had shown me a few things, especially about how he had worried about me. He was really in love with me and didn't need me for any agenda.
