Lilith’s POV

A flame suddenly came on and I saw his face. 

Goosebumps rushed all over my body at once as I got up, trying to hide myself from his prying eyes.

I wanted to leave the room but stopped as I heard the deep voice of my attacker groaning and cursing outside. He sounded really furious, there was no telling what he would do to me if he caught me.

Electric shivers ran through my spine as I heard Ben’s feet move behind me. I was so scared and ashamed to turn— to see his face.
