‘What was her offence?”
“She was accused of stealing some stupid clothes, a card, and a phone.” I gritted, clenching my teeth.
The allegations sounded convincing, but I knew within me that Lilith would never steal a dime.
She could have withdrawn the money in my card and made away with it. She could have stolen from my estate when I was unconscious, but she didn't.
Lilith was many things; stubborn, curious, disobedient as she flaunted my rules. But she was never a thief.
