It was night by the time Tessa was done with she was doing and joined them for a bon fire.
The bonfire crackled under a sky full of stars, its golden light reflecting on Camila’s sunglasses—even though the sun had long disappeared beyond the horizon. Tessa lounged on a rattan beach chair, nursing a coconut cocktail, while Jamie dramatically flopped down beside her, resting his head on her lap.
