“Where to now?” Dean asked, licking his fingers.
“Macroplaza,” she said. “The big square. You’ll see the lighthouse, statues, gardens. And there’s an ice cream truck there for second dessert.”
“Best day ever,” Sofia whispered, already standing up.
The Macroplaza was a wide, open stretch of beautiful landscaping and walkways. It was surrounded by important buildings—government halls, cultural centres, theatres. The children darted ahead, playing a game of pretend spies, ducking behind benches and statues.
“That’s the Faro del Comercio,” Clarissa said, pointing to a tall red tower. “It lights up at night, shooting a green laser across the sky.”
Dean’s eyes widened. “Really?”
