Xavier and Mann were putting finishing touches to the video message meant for Caleb and Jane when they heard a knock on the door behind them.

Xavier smiled mischievously and walked to the door.

“Hey there little man,” he said a little too excitedly to a confused looking Toby standing in the hallway. He peered into the room and when his gaze met Mann's cold, expressionless eyes, his breath caught in his throat.

“I see the drug has finally worn off. Come on in,” Xavier gestured into the room and smiled. "Don't be shy.”
