James and Isabella stood together on the steps, coldly observing her.

 

Emily endured the pain, struggling to move her body, attempting to climb the steps. She cried as she climbed, tears and snot smudging her face, looking extremely distressed and pitiful.

 

"Baby, please save our baby..." Emily struggled to say.

 

Isabella, seeing the trail of blood behind her, instinctively covered her mouth, looking shocked. "James, quickly call an ambulance, Emily seems to be having a miscarriage."

 

However, James stood there, unmoved, his gaze unusually icy. "Another miscarriage? Who knows if she's really pregnant this time or just acting."

 

This scene in front of him seemed to overlap with the past....
