"Don't ever dream of being queen of this pack, because it will never happen," Nash shouted at me.

He spoke without wanting to look at me. Does he hate me that much? I bit my own tongue trying to keep from crying. I tried to look like his words had no effect on me, but I'm sure right now I look pretty pathetic.
