The witch took the bracelet and the ring, placing the bracelet into the tissue of my wrist while doing the same to Luke, as she placed the ring, into the tissue of his finger, muttering, "Alarath vi zyrry azh, du'rast lon."

After placing them while I winced from the pain of the shells embedded into me, the witch might have done something to accelerate the healing process for both Luke and me.

The bracelet was now embedded into the flesh of my wrist, around it, but you could see sharp shells poking out on top.

Same for Luke too, except the round part was what was embedded into...
