Ashly froze in his arms. Pointedly, she cast a glance over one shoulder, meeting her lover's gaze with a raised brow. Her eyes scanned Alex's expression before narrowing. "Would you really like that?" she asked, genuinely curious.

The question threw Alex completely off-kilter. His eyes went wide before he blinked back his shock. He'd been teasing before; of course he had, but Ashly knew exactly how to turn it all around on him.
